Ming Style Tea Room
During the Ming Dynasty, literati often built a small room next to their study, equipped with a young tea servant and all the necessary tea utensils. This small room was called a "tea chamber." It was a compact space adjacent to the mountain study, furnished with tea sets, and a young servant was trained to serve tea, providing a setting for leisurely conversations during long days and quiet nights. — Wen Zhenheng, "Treatise on Long Objects"
